EB Sources — since 2001, made in USA

Clean it in the chamber — keep your magnet — stay in production.

Most e-guns have to come out of the chamber to be cleaned. Once the magnet is disturbed, it has to be regaussed before you can run again — one to two weeks of downtime.

An EB Sources gun is built so the copper parts lift out with the source still in the chamber. The magnet never moves. Clean it, reinstall, pump down, and you're back in production the same day — usually in two to three hours.

That's the whole idea behind every gun we build.

EB Sources — electron-beam evaporation sources, built and rebuilt in Concord, California

EB Sources builds electron-beam evaporation sources — eight models, EB1 through EB12 — along with the feed-thrus, coils, crucibles, and emitters that go with them.

Every source is built to order. We don't ship from a shelf — your gun is assembled and adapted to your chamber when you order it. We also make replacement and custom parts for CHA (Mark 50), Telemark, and Temescal systems, as well as our own.

Made in the USA, in Concord, California.

Fastest repair turn-around in the industry

Send us your gun — any major brand: Telemark, Temescal, CHA, or ours. We'll strip it, clean it, rebuild it, regauss the magnet, and tank-test it before it ships back. Most repairs turn around in one to two days. No loaner needed at that speed.

Choose the right source

Picking a gun comes down to three things: how many pockets you need, how much material you want to evaporate, and how many different materials your process calls for. Start with the model that fits — we adapt it to your chamber from there.
